Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

Draft for review. These terms were prepared as a starting point and must be checked by an Egyptian lawyer before Salka accepts real payments.

1. What Salka is

Salka is a marketplace where people sell and buy tickets to events. Salka is not the seller of the tickets and does not organise the events. When a buyer pays, Salka holds the payment until the ticket is confirmed, then releases it to the seller.

2. Who can use Salka

To buy or sell, you must be at least 18 and complete verification: a phone number, an identity document (ID or passport) and a face check. Your details must be true and belong to you. We may refuse, suspend or close any account that does not meet these rules.

3. How an order works

The buyer pays and the money is held by Salka. The seller sends the ticket through the official ticketing app and marks it as sent. The buyer checks the ticket and confirms, and the seller is then paid. Until then the money is not available to either side.

Before the seller marks the ticket as sent, either side may cancel the order and the buyer is refunded.

4. Problems and disputes

If the ticket does not arrive or does not work, the buyer must report a problem in Salka and not confirm the order. The payment stays frozen while Salka support reviews it. Support may speak to both sides and ask for proof. Salka decides whether the seller is paid or the buyer is refunded, and that decision is final within Salka.

5. What you must not do

Do not sell fake, duplicated, cancelled or already used tickets, or tickets you do not have the right to sell. Do not take a buyer or seller away from Salka to trade outside it. Do not use another person's identity or open several accounts. We may cancel orders, freeze payments, close accounts and report fraud to the authorities.

6. Fees

Fees, if any, will be shown clearly before you list or buy a ticket.

7. Our responsibility

We work to keep Salka safe and available, but we cannot promise it will always run without interruption. Salka is not responsible for events that are cancelled, moved or changed by the organiser, but we will try to help in those cases within these terms. Nothing here limits any right you have under Egyptian law.

8. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. Egyptian law applies. To contact us, use the help chat in the bottom corner of the site.
